About hometown and family
I was born and raised in the eastern part of the Philippines. I’m the only daughter of my parents who worked together in a Direst Selling Company. I came from a not so fortunate family; a complete rags-to-riches state. I had to be full scholarship to finish college. I have 2 younger brothers. Who are in middle school and the youngest is in grade school. My parents, managed to make them attend school even though it’s tough to earn nowadays. I look up to them for being able to do so. I no longer live with them to follow my own dreams, and to be able to help them as well. Soon enough, I will be a parent and I will make sure they will have all the good things in life.
私はフィリピン西部に生まれ育ちました。私の両親は共に、同じ訪問販売会社に勤めています。決して裕福な家庭ではありませんでしたが、何もないゼロの状態からある程度生活できる状態になりました。私は大学を奨学生として卒業しました。私には2人の兄弟がおり、一人は中学生で、一番下の子は小学生です。私の両親は貧しいながらも私たち子供を学校に行かせてくれました。両親の事は本当に尊敬しています。現在は私は親元離れて暮らしており、家族を援助したいと思っています、そしていつか自分が親になった時、子供に必要な物全てを与えれるようになりたいと思っています。
Comments to students
A student is one teacher's achievements. It is on the students’ improvement that one teacher's capability and credibility is measured. A student is the mirror. They are the outputs and the product of teaching. Once a student learns, develops and be better of whom they can be. That is when a teacher is recognized. So, for my students, I will dedicate my whole career making your goals my mission. Your excellence is my award. This has always been my dream, to be able to share what I have to those people in need of my service.
生徒の英語上達によってのみ、講師の力量が図れると思います。そのため生徒を通して自分自身の講師として能力が見受けられます。生徒が学び、成長し、より良い英語学習者になった時初めて、講師としての役割を果たしている事になります。そのため、私の持つ全てと知識と経験をフル活用し、生徒の目標達成を助けたいです。生徒さんの上達は、講師のご褒美です。英語学習のサポートを必要としている人の役に立つことが、私の夢であり続けます。
Favorite TV program and its contents
I am more into reading rather than watching movies, to be honest. But, movies that would show life's moral lesson would also catch my interest. Any TV program or movie that would help me enhance my learning capabilities would be fine. Correction, I am not the geeky boring type, I just love learning. I love having fun as well. I usually watch comedy and horror films. Most of them have moral lessons.
私は読書よりも映画を見ることが好きです。多くの映画は何か人生で大切な教訓などを教えてくれ、集中して見てしまいます。私の知識を高めてくれるテレビ番組や映画なら何でも好きです。かといって、私は映画オタクでもありません。ただ何かを学ぶのが好きです。コメディーやホラー映画も楽しいので見ます。
Goals and dreams as an English teacher
Learning English is fun. To make sure every class I handle would be fun and worth remembering. I would want to be known as a friend not an educator. Being an online English teacher is a 2-way relationship. Not only have my students learned, but also I learn from them as well. To be able to make sure, at the end of every textbook, a lesson learned. A friend gained.
英語学習は楽しむべきものです。楽しくて、記憶に残るようなレッスンを展開できるよう日々努めたいと思っています。私の事は、教育者というよりも、友達のように感じて頂けたら幸いです。英語講師は決して一方的な関係をとるべきではなく、講師も生徒から学ぶべきです。レッスンではしっかり学んで頂き、友情を深めたいです。
About Japanese and Japan
Japanese has never been out of fad and fashion in the Philippines. People of ages and dynasties have always looked up, or, have followed every fad started by the Japanese. I can say so myself, from my mom my siblings and my cousins, my friends, they all would love the movies, the actors and actresses. I have known Japan because of my favorite Manga series "detective Conan". These stuff would clearly show how talented Japanese are. The Japanese culture is different from ours' the Filipino’s. But is sure is amazing.
フィリピンでは、日本ブーム決して留まることなく、常に流行の中心です。日本で流行っている物はフィリピン人も注目し、そしてフィリピンでも流行ります。私の母や兄弟も、日本の映画や俳優、女優で好きな人がいます。私も日本の漫画「名探偵コナン」大好きで、日本のことを知りました。このような作品は、日本人の才能を感じさせます。日本の文化はフィリピンとは違いますが、。とても素晴らしいです。
