About hometown and family
I was born in Davao city, Philippines. Davao City is the biggest city in the Philippines. It is located in the Southern Mindanao. I’m very proud Davao City is my hometown. I feel safe and at ease while living here because, the top priority of our local government is to make sure the citizens are safe. Durian, Orchid, Philippine eagle are some of the reason why a lot of tourists keep coming to Davao City and also these are the things that Davao City can be proud of. Moreover, “Kadayawan” and “Araw ng Davao” are the two most important events here that all Dabawenyo’s(called for the people in Davao city) are always waiting for. I graduated from a Japanese school called Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku and I took up Bachelor of Science in International Studies major in Japanese Language and Studies here in Davao City. I have three sibling and all girls. I’m the second daughter. I can say that there are advantages and disadvantages in having sisters. Advantages are you can talk to them anything with regards to same interest, I can borrow things from them such as earrings, bags, and sometimes clothes, and I enjoy having three sisters. On the other hand, the disadvantages are the more we are open with each other the more conflict, and sometimes we fight with just small things such as material things or money. It makes me sad. I believe that argumentation i natural in any kind of relationship. We are living a simple life just like the other family; we also encounter some difficulties in financial problem and etc. My father owns a calibration shop whilst, my mother is just ordinary housewife. My older sister is a junior auditor in a famous company and my other two sisters is a college student here in Davao.
私はフィリピンのダバオに生まれました。ダバオはフィリピンでも一番大きな町です。ミンダナオ南部に位置します。ダバオが自分の故郷である事に誇りを持っています。ダバオ自治体の優先事項は、住民の安全です。そのためダバオでの生活はとても安全で、いつも安心して暮らしていました。
多くの旅行客は、ドリアン、ランの花、フィリピン鷲を目当てにダバオを訪れます。また「カダヤワン」と「アラウング」はダバオで最も有名なイベントで、多くのダバウェンヨ(ダバオ出身者の呼び名)が毎年待ちこがれています。私はミンダナオ国際大学という日本の学校出身で、国際学部で日本語を勉強しました。私には3人の姉妹がおり、私は2女です。姉妹を持つことには利点と欠点があると思います。利点は、共通の話題や興味を持っているので、色々の事について話が出来ます。イアリングや、バッグ、服などを貸し借りできます。欠点は、姉妹と親密であるほど、些細なことで喧嘩をしたりします。それは悲しいことです。口論はどんな関係にも起こりうることだと思います。私の父は銃などの口径測定をする会社を経営しています。母は専業主婦です。私の姉は有名な会社で会計検査官として働いています。他の2人の姉妹はダバオで大学生をしています。
Comments to students
When I was a child, one of my frustrations was to become a teacher. Being a teacher, I will give my best so that the student will learn English well and also meet the student’s satisfaction. I’m hoping that I can make a good teacher-student relationship with my future students.
子供の頃の夢は教師になることでした。生徒さんに英語を学んでいただけるよう、ベストを尽くして生徒さんを満足させてあげたいです。生徒さんとは良い関係を築きたいです。
Favorite TV program and its contents
I not really hook on TV programs. I just watch them when I’m bored and I have nothing to do. But, sometimes I watch reality show It’s called Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), where in it tells about the lives of each people living in that house.
テレビ番組は基本的にあまり見ません。暇な時や、他にする事がない時にしか見ませんが、ピノイ･ビッグブラザーというリアリティーショーは見ます。1つの家に住む若者たちの話です。
Goals and dreams as an English teacher
My goal as a teacher is very simple, to impart my knowledge in English to my student and help them to learn and enjoy English.
私の講師としての目標はシンプルです。自分の持つ英語の知識を生徒に与え、英語学習を楽しんでもらう事です。
About Japanese and Japan
As I’d mention I graduated in a Japanese school so basically I have knowledge about Japan and its culture. When I was a student, there is certain event that Japanese and Filipino celebrates and that is the RP-Japan Festival. In that event, both culture of Filipino and Japanese are put together in just one event. There is Japanese Lessons and Filipino Lessons which the students can participate and have fun. For example, In Japanese lessons such as ikkibana, Japanese cooking, tea ceremony and etc. Whilst, Filipino lesson such as folk dances, Laro ng lahi, Filipino cooking and etc. From that I come to learn the Japan’s culture.
私はお伝えしましたとおり、日本の大学を卒業しました。そのため日本や日本の文化に関する知識はある程度あります。私が学生だった頃、PR-日本祭りという、日本人とフィリピン人が一緒に祝う催し物がありました。そのイベントは日本とフィリピンの文化を融合したものでした。イベントではフィリピン講座や日本講座があり、とても楽しい催し物でした。例えば、生け花や、日本料理、茶道などを体験できました。フィリピン講座では、フォークダンスやフィリピン料理などが体験できました。これ等のイベントにより、日本の文化を学びました。
